Columbia Police investigating domestic-related murder

UPDATE: Police say they are searching for Cordera Hopkins in connection with the shooting death of Monique Worthy.

Investigators say once he is arrested he will be charged with Murder, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime & Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)– Investigators with the Columbia Police Department say they are investigating a domestic related murder.

Police say they responded to the 1500 block of Levity St. Sunday night and found Monique Worthy, 42, dead inside a home.

Investigators say it was Worthy’s birthday.
