RCSD: 1 person dead after shooting on Broad River Road

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County deputies are investigating after a male victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds, say deputies.

On Wednesday, July 2, at around 4 a.m., deputies received a shots fired call at 2624 Broad River Road.

Deputies arrived at the scene to find a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds, according to RCSD.

EMS and CFD responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

RCSD investigators urge anyone who has information in reference to the shooting to call CrimeStoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC as they investigate.
