Three injured in fireworks related fire in Newberry

Newberry, S.C. (WOLO)–Newberry Co. firefighters say one person was severely injured following an accident involving fireworks.

Chief Gene Shealy says crews responded to Epting St. just after 4PM Wednesday.
upon arrival, officials say they found one victim and a small shed on fire with small explosions still happening.
Newberry Police and and EMS also responded.
In total, three people were taken to the hospital following the fire.
Officials say SLED is investigating.
