Coroner identifies person after two-vehicle collision

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County Coroner Robert Baker has identified the person who died after a fatal two-vehicle collision on Wednesday, said the coroner’s office.

The collision happened on Wednesday, July 3, around 3:26 p.m. on Broad Street Extension near Shaw AFB.

Coroner Baker identified the person as 31-year-old Robert Clark of Sumter County.

He died from his injuries due to the two-vehicle collision.

The coroner’s office said an autopsy will be performed next week at the Medical University in Charleston.
