New Pickleball courts open in Blythewood

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. (WOLO)– The pickleball craze has found its way to Blythewood.

On Thursday, July 10, the Richland County Recreation Commission held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the brand new pickleball courts at Blythewood Park.

Pickleball is a combination of ping pong and tennis that has gained popularity over the years.

Officials say they can’t wait for people to start playing.
