New TikTok app may be coming soon

(CNN)– A new TikTok app may be coming for users in the U.S. and that could mean an almost entirely different user experience.

President Trump has repeatedly delayed enforcement of a law requiring TikTok’s China-based parent company Byte-dance to sell it or face a ban in the U.S.

Now, trump says there is a buyer.

Meanwhile TikTok is reportedly building a new version of the app just for the U.S. that could launch as soon as September.
