Toy prices could rise due to tariffs

(CNN)– Americans could start to see the prices of toys rise this fall, that’s according to Hasbro’s CEO.

He says Hasbro’s main international suppliers are China and Vietnam.

The Trump Administration has implemented steep tariffs on both countries.

The CEO says Hasbro hasn’t raised prices yet, but that could be coming in August through October.

Hasbro manufactures toys like Play-doh, Transformers, Candy land, and Dungeons and Dragons.

About half of the company’s products are already made in the U.S.
