Around 8,5000 portable chargers recalled

(CNN)– There is a recall  for nearly 85-hundred portable chargers due to a fire risk.

The recall affects one model of iStore Magnetic Wireless Power Banks that were sold at stores and vending machines in airports and on the company’s website.

The problem lies with the charger’s lithium-ion battery.

The consumer product safety commission reports three incidents of the power banks overheating and exploding while charging.

That led to one minor burn and some property damage.

If you have one of the chargers, stop using it and contact i-Store to check the model number and participate in the recall.
