PRIDE OF LEXINGTON: Gamecock guard Scott hosts annual youth basketball camp
LEXINGTON, S.C. — South Carolina guard Cam Scott returned to a familiar place Saturday to give back to the next generation of hoopers.
The Lexington native hosted his second annual youth basketball camp at Pleasant Hill Middle School, the very school he once attended.
Scott, now a sophomore at USC, is preparing for his second season under head coach Lamont Paris. With the new season quickly approaching, he took time to mentor local kids, share lessons he’s learned, and inspire the next wave of talent.
Sports Director Chaz Frazier sat down with Scott to talk about the camp, what it means to come home, and how he’s getting ready for the upcoming season with the Gamecocks.
