Man wanted for fatal shooting arrested over the weekend in North Carolina
LEE COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lee County deputies say a man wanted for a fatal shooting was arrested in North Carolina over the weekend.
According to investigators, 53-year-old Jaime Allen shot and killed 60-year-old Carol Wilson Baker while she was driving in the Mayesville area.
Authorities say they were in a relationship. Allen later carjacked another vehicle and left the scene.
He was arrested in Wake County, North Carolina Sunday, July 21, and is awaiting extradition back to Lee County to face several charges, including murder.
