Columbia Police arrest man accused of robbing two businesses on the same day

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police have arrested a man accused of robbing two businesses on the same day, according to CPD.

19-year-old John Wise, Jr faces charges of armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Investigators say Wise allegedly robbed the Pizza Hut on Forest Drive, and the Food Lion on Harden Street on June 29.

No one was injured in the robberies.

Wise is being held in the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
