(WPDE) — The dates were announced on Wednesday for the 2026 PGA TOUR’S ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic.
The competition is set for May 7-10 at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club. Officials said the field size for 2026 will be slightly smaller, with 120 players competing, 12 fewer than in the past two years.
The general consensus from all the guys the last two years is they love the golf course, and I’m certainly one of those,” said Ryan Fox, who claimed his first TOUR title. “The greens are small. They are fast, and they are sloped. All you’d have to do is grow the rough a little longer and this place would become a real test. I definitely think it stands up to a full-field event.
Organizers also said the winner of the Myrtle Beach Classic is expected to earn a spot into the PGA Championship field, which will be contested at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, PA from May 14-17.
The on-sale date for tickets and hospitality options will be announced at a later date.
Active and retired military personnel as well as first responders will be welcome to two free tickets to the practice round, and an additional tickets for the other days will be offered at a 25% discount. They also said children 15years-old and younger will again be admitted free with a paying ticketholder.
Organizers said this event will be one of two stops in the state for the PGA TOUR in 2026.
Tickets will be available here.
