Kershaw County Coroner ID’s victim of motor vehicle incident

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Kershaw County Coroner’s Office says Coroner David West has identified the victim of a motor vehicle incident that happened on Wednesday.

The collision took place on Wednesday, July 23, around 11:30 a.m. on Whiting Way behind the Waffle House off of Hwy 601 in Lugoff.

Coroner David West says the person was identified as 85-year-old Rose Oles from Lugoff.

Oles and the driver of the vehicle was taken to Prisma Health Richland where she was pronounced dead.

The driver’s condition is unknown.
