Irmo Police asking drivers to steer clear of flooded roads

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– Irmo PD is asking drivers to steer clear of certain areas due to flooding from a storm, said officers.

Officers said there is reported flooding in the 7800 and 7900 Blocks of Broad River Road.

And the intersection of North Woodrow Street and North Royal Tower Drive is flooded as well.

Anyone who has to be out and about is asked to use caution and drive safely.

If you see standing water on the roadway, turn around, don’t drown.
