RCSD to host Back to School Bash & Career Fest this Saturday!

RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO) – It’s back to school time already and the Richland Co. Sheriff’s Department wants to kick it off with a fun event!

Their Back to School Bash/Career Fest starts this Saturday from 10 a.m. – Noon at the Denny Terrace Community Center, 6429 Bishop Ave., Columbia.

Curtis spoke with Capt. Michael Pearson about how this event not only has fun games and activities for the family, but also offers high schoolers a chance to speak with several vendors (trade schools, colleges, military, etc.) on potential career opportunities.

There will also be door prizes for the first 25 people there.
