SCDOT to conduct temporary lane closures on I-20 Eastbound bridge over Wateree River

KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Department of Transportation says there will be a continuous right lane closure on the I-20 Eastbound bridge over the Wateree River in Kershaw County.

The continuous right lane closure will begin at 7 p.m. on Sunday, August 10.

SCDOT says these right lane closures will allow crews to conduct bridge rehabilitation work.

The closures are expected to last until 1 p.m. on Thursday, August 14.

The work will take place between mile markers 95 and 97.

Drivers are asked to slow down and pay attention when driving near the work zone.

Also, drivers are encouraged to plan their route ahead with the 511SC App or at 511sc.org.

Delays should expected and people should seek alternate routes if possible.
