RCSD: Man arrested for 2nd time this month, charged with exploitation of a minor

Investigators say on Monday, August 11, at approximately 2:15 p.m., RCSD’s Fugitive Task Force and Special Response Team arrested Timothy Ulness on an arrest warrant obtained after investigators found sexually explicit images and videos of children on Ulness’s cell phone.
UPDATE: Ulness received a $350,000 cash-only surety bond at a hearing Tuesday afternoon on the charge of exploitation of a minor.
The judge says if he is able to make bond on this charge he will be required to wear an ankle monitor.
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sheriff Leon Lott says a man has been arrested again after a previous arrest this month.
Investigators say on Monday, August 11, at approximately 2:15 p.m., RCSD’s Fugitive Task Force and Special Response Team arrested Timothy Ulness on an arrest warrant obtained after investigators found sexually explicit images and videos of children on Ulness’s cell phone.
RCSD deputies say the images, and videos were found during the execution of a search warrant from his arrest on Tuesday, August 5.
During the execution of the search warrant investigators found hundreds of files containing sexually explicit images and videos of children.
Investigators obtained an arrest warrant for third degree exploitation of a minor.
RCSD is continuing to determine the exact number of images and video containing sexually explicit material of children were located on Ulness’ device and intend to bring more charges as the investigation continues.
He was originally arrested on Tuesday, August 5, and charged with assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature and kidnapping for an incident that happened on Saturday, August 2.
