Reward offered for information leading to arrest in death of 2 Charleston County women
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A 5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest after two Charleston County woman’s bodies were found in a wooded area, say deputies.
Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide after two bodies were found Friday afternoon, August 8, in the Rembert area of Sumter County.
The victims identified as Kristen N. Grissom, 38, of North Charleston, and Christine Marie McAbee, 35, of Walterboro bodies were were found in a clearing in a wooded area.
Sheriff’s office officials say the autopsy report for Christine Marie McAbee indicates she died of a gun shot wound.
And the medical examiner is waiting on more tests before releasing the cause of death for Kristine Grissom.
