AirBnB offers “reserve now, pay later” option

(CNN)– Airbnb is introducing a new feature that allows travelers to reserve some stays without paying up front.

The new feature, aptly named ‘reserve now, pay later’ is available to U.S. customers for eligible domestic stays.

Travelers can use the feature for listings with a flexible or moderate cancellation policy.

The full rental amount is not due until shortly before the end of the listing’s free cancellation period.

Host cancelation policies do not change and no credit check is required.
