Huge snake found in Newberry Co.!

Newberry Co., S.C. (WOLO)– Newberry Co. Sheriff Lee Foster posted a picture on Facebook of a massive snake found in the area Monday night.

Sheriff Foster says Warren Gallman and some of his friends captured the snake near the Mid Carolina campuses.

Foster says it is believed the snake was someone’s pet that was released into the wild because it is not native to the area.

Foster says Mr. Gallman took the snake home with him.
