AAA: Travel costs are cheaper this Labor Day

(CNN)– Taking one last trip before this Summer officially ends might be a little easier on your wallet.

AAA says if you want to fly domestic round-trip flights are 6% less expensive than they were this time last year.

National hotel rates are down 11% with car rental prices 3% lower.

Booking data shows the most popular U.S. destinations for the upcoming Labor Day weekend include Seattle, Orlando and New York City.

People planning to hit the road by car are also getting a financial break.

Prices at the pump have fallen to a low not seen since the Summer of 2021.
