Lexington Police: Suspect arrested following a wreck during pursuit

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington Police say a suspect has been arrested following a wreck during a pursuit last night.

According to investigators, Richland County deputies were in a pursuit that entered Lexington County when the suspect struck the back of a bystander’s vehicle at the intersection of North Lake Drive and Sunset Boulevard.

The suspect was taken into custody, and the road is back open after being shut down for hours.

No word on any injuries as the investigation continues.
