Local Living: Fort Jackson 5K run/walk, Tunnel to Towers 5K, arts and crafts market, Adam Sandler coming to Columbia

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, Fort Jackson will host its annual run/walk 5k for the fallen this Saturday, September 6.
Registration starts at 7 a.m. followed by opening comments at 7:45 a.m. with the run starting at 8 a.m. at Hilton Field.
Soldiers running will wear bibs with the name of a fallen service member to honor their memory and sacrifice.
It’s free and open to the public.
The annual Tunnel to Towers 5k event takes place later this month.
The annual event takes place September 12 at the Columbia Convention Center.
The event raises funds for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation which supports our nation’s fallen and injured first responders, veterans, and their families.
The Midlands annual fall arts and crafts market isn’t far off.
The 15 annual market takes place September 13th and September 14th at the State Farmers Market in West Columbia.
More than 150 crafters and vendors will be showcasing their talents and creations.
Admission is free.
Adam Sandler is coming to Columbia on his “You’re my Best Friend Tour.”
The critically acclaimed comedian, actor, and producer will hit the stage at the Colonial Arena on September 10th.
Tickets range from $35 dollars up to $165 for floor seats.
