Lee County firefighters respond to mobile home engulfed in flames

 

 

LEE COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– On Labor Day, Lee County Fire Department responded to a mobile home engulfed in flames, say officials.

Around 10:30 p.m., on September 1, firefighters responded to a fire incident located on Mission Lane within the Cypress community.

Upon firefighters arrival to the scene, they saw a single-wide mobile home and a storage building were fully engulfed in flames.

A tanker task force was mobilized to provide water support for the rural area.

There were no reported injures, and two neighboring residences sustained damage.

The cause of the fire was determined to be from outside burning, according to the fire dept.
