Local Living: Emergency kitten adoption, Zoofari, Disney Heroes and Villains Costume Exhibit, You’re my Best Friend Tour

LOCAL LIVING: COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, Pawmetto Lifeline is hosting an emergency kitten adoption event this weekend.

The Kitten 911 event is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, September 5, and Saturday, September 6, on Bower Parkway.

Officials say they are at full capacity for kittens.

It’s $25 for kittens 3 months and older, and $50 for kittens under 3 months old.

They recommend you complete an adoption application online before you go.

Riverbanks Zoo is hosting a “Zoofari” experience later this month.

You can enjoy an evening of light cuisine, craft cocktails, and curator-led tours.

Tickets are $100 for the general public and $85 for Riverbanks members.

It takes place on September 26th from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

SC State Museum is extending their Disney Heroes and Villains Costume Exhibit.

Guests will now be able to enjoy the critically acclaimed show through January 4, 2025.

You can see 70 actual costumes worn by several iconic characters like Cinderella, Maleficent, and more.

Adam Sandler’s “You’re my Best Friend Tour” is coming to Columbia next week.

The critically acclaimed comedian, actor, and producer will hit the stage at the Colonial Arena, Wednesday, September 10th at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets range from $35 to $165 for floor seats.
