North Charleston Police assisting in Sumter County murder investigation
SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County deputies say police in North Charleston are assisting with the investigation into the deaths of two women whose bodies were found in August.
On August 8th the bodies of Kristen Grissom and Christine McAbee were found in a field in Rembert.
Investigators say both women were from Charleston and it is believed they were killed somewhere else and their bodies were left in the field.
