Sumter County deputies investigating fatal Saturday night shooting

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter County deputies are investigating a fatal shooting Saturday night, September 6.

According to investigators, the victim who’s from Hampton, Georgia was found shot outside a home on Camp Branch Road before midnight.

The victim died at the scene from their injuries.

The Sumter County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity as of yet.
