Orangeburg man charged in fatal apartment complex shooting

Quentin Williams Jr. has been charged in a fatal apartment complex shooting, says Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.
ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– An Orangeburg man has been charged in a fatal apartment complex shooting, says Sheriff Leroy Ravenell.
Sheriff Ravenell says 21-year-old Quentin Williams, Jr., has been charged with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.
“This makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to take someone’s life and for what? Nothing in this world is worth taking someone’s life” the Orangeburg County sheriff says.
Orangeburg County Sheriff’s investigators were notified of a shooting on Presidential Drive around 11:30 p.m. on September 6.
The Atlantic Avenue man was taken into custody on Monday and charged with the shooting death of 28-year-old Cameron Ryant of Orangeburg.
