Hyundai recalls 560K vehicles for seatbelt issue
(CNN)– Hyundai is recalling more than half a million SUVs over a serious seat belt issue.
The recall affects Hyundai Palisades from 2020 through 2025.
Hyundai says seat belt buckles in the driver, passenger, and second-row window seats may fail to latch.
Hyundai has reportedly logged more than 500 reports of faulty latches though no crashes, injuries, or deaths have been linked to the defect.
Until repairs are made Hyundai advises you to firmly insert seatbelts and tug on them to make sure they’re secure.
Dealers will inspect and replace the buckles free of charge.
