Record number of people working in SC
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– More people than ever are working in South Carolina.
Friday, September 19, the SC Department of Employment and Workforce announced the number of people working in the state increased to more than 2.5 million.
That’s over 30 thousand from the same time last year.
However, at the same time the department says the unemployment rate increased to 4.3%.
