No injures reported after vacant Camden building fire

CAMDEN, S.C. (WOLO)– The cause of a massive fire at a vacant Camden building remains under investigation.

Firefighters say no one was hurt following the blaze on Saturday night, September 20.

It happened at the vacant Deroyal Textile Building on York Street before 11 p.m.

Multiple agencies worked to fight the blaze.

Officials say the road will remain closed until further notice.

KBI Construction was onsite removing debris as crews continued to work the scene.
