Man sentenced to life for murder
KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The 5th Circuit Solicitor says a Kershaw fugitive has been sentenced to life in prison without parole for his girlfriend’s murder.
Investigators say in June 2018, Alexander Harmon confessed to fatally shooting his girlfriend Katelin Crocker after an argument.
He was charged for her death but posted bond in November of 2018 and fled South Carolina.
In December of 2024, authorities say Harmon was communicating with a 15-year-old runaway in Florida under an alias.
Harmon was arrested in Iowa following a chase.
He will serve his sentence in the South Carolina Department of Corrections.
