Deputy director of South Carolina Election Commission fired

 

 

 

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The deputy director of the South Carolina Election Commission has been fired.

According to documents obtained by ABC Columbia, Paige Salonich was terminated after policy violations including using profane and abusive language toward fellow employees.

Documents also state that agency security cameras captured her placing an unauthorized device in a training room.

Salonich is the second member of Election Commission Leadership in the past week to be fired.
