Lee County deputies arrest man after Wednesday car chase

LEE COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lee County deputies have arrested a man after a car chase Wednesday.

Deputies say they spotted 35-year-old Joshua Shealy driving a 1990 GMC truck that was reported stolen.

When deputies attempted to pull over the truck, Shealy failed to stop leading deputies on a chase.

Deputies say the pursuit came to an end in the Cassatt area of Kershaw County when law enforcement conducted a pit maneuver.

Shealy was arrested and taken to the Sumter County Detention Center.
