SCEMD monitoring storms brewing in the Atlantic

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Emergency Management Division says it is monitoring storms brewing in the Atlantic.

SCEMD officials say they are working closely with the members of the state emergency response team, the national weather service, and local officials to provide updated information on any potential impacts from Tropical Storm Humberto or Tropical Disturbance 94-l.

In the meantime, officials say now is the time to make sure you are prepared in the event that a storm arrives.
