Former state lawmaker to enter guilty plea in child sexual abuse material investigation
Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–A former state lawmaker will plead guilty to possessing child sexual abuse material.
Friday the US Attorney’s Office announced Lexington County Republican RJ may will enter his plea at a hearing Monday in Columbia.
May, a former state representative, faces ten federal charges related to the distribution of more than 200 videos containing child sexual abuse material.
May resigned from office in August.
