SC Attorney General announces grants for victims’ advocate groups
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Friday, September 26, the SC Attorney General Alan Wilson announced help is on the way for victims of crime in the Midlands and the Pee Dee.
This morning Alan Wilson announced victims’ advocate groups in those areas will receive more than $26 million in state and federal grants.
Some of those groups include, the Columbia Police Department, Epworth Children’s Home, and Mother’s Against Drunk Driving.
The projects will begin on October 1st.
