SC Master Trooper released from hospital after being hit by driver during traffic stop

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Department of Public Safety released a video of Master Trooper Wayne LaBounty being released from the hospital after he was hit by a driver during a traffic stop on September 9.

Jerrod Ricks was later arrested and charged for the incident.

SC Troopers say LaBounty is being transferred to a rehab facility.
