Columbia PD searching for missing woman, 9-month-old son

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia Police’s Special Victims Unit (SVU) are searching for a missing woman, and her 9-month-old baby boy, said police.

Special Victims Unit (SVU) investigators say Alyshia Chavis, and her son were reported as missing by the child’s father.

Investigators were told that Chavis was to return from Charlotte, N.C., but she has not communicated with loved ones for several weeks.
