USGS confirms earthquake in South Carolina
KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The United States Geological Survey has confirmed that an earthquake happened in South Carolina, according to the SC Emergency Management Division.
On Monday, September 29, officials said an 1.83 magnitude earthquake occurred around 3:00 a.m. about 6 miles away from Kershaw.
The earthquake was about 12.84 km.
