2 men arrested on drug trafficking charges
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Two men accused of trafficking drugs have been arrested after a narcotics investigation that began in July, according to the sheriff’s department.
Freddie English Jr., 32, is charged with one count of trafficking methamphetamine and one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, according to arrest warrants.
Also, Marvin Mavins, 39, is charged with one count of trafficking methamphetamine.
Investigators with the Lexington County Multi-Agency Narcotics Enforcement Team arrested Mavins last month after conducting a controlled purchase of meth.
“Investigators discovered Mavins was supplied the meth by English,” Sheriff Jay Koon said.
English was arrested by the Wagner Police Department
Lexington County Sheriff’s Department said investigators found over one pound of meth and more than three pounds of marijuana at a Lexington home associated with English.
Both men are being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.
