Pedestrian struck & killed overnight on Two Notch Road in Richland Co.

RICHLAND CO., S.C. (WOLO) – South Carolina Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was struck and killed overnight.

Troopers say it happened on Two Notch Road near North Grampian Hills Road at 12:55 a.m.

According to Master Trooper Mitchell Ridgeway, the pedestrian was on the road when they were struck by a 2023 Kia Forte.

Authorities say the pedestrian died on scene and the Kia driver wasn’t hurt.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity as of yet.

This incident remains under investigation.
