COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland firefighters responded to a fire at an abandoned apartment building Saturday morning.

It happened in the 1700 block of Washington Street before 1 in the morning on Saturday, October 11, where authorities found the fire quickly moving through the building.

They were able to bring it under control with no injuries being reported, but all ten units of the building were left damaged by the fire.

The Columbia-Richland Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause.
