Events to enjoy this Halloween season
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Spooky season is amongst us, and for anyone looking to enjoy the season with family and friends take a look at the list below.
There are events with magically fun, games, and candy for anyone looking to enjoy their Halloween season.
HALLOWEEN EVENTS:
ORANGEBURG COUNTY:
The City of Orangeburg is hosting s Halloween event for the community. The Parks & Recreation Department is inviting people to its annual Trunk or Treat along Riverside Drive in the Edisto Memorial Gardens on Monday, October 27, from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.
RICHLAND COUNTY:
Richland County Recreation Commission is hosting several Halloween themed and Trunk or Treat events throughout the month of October.
Richland County Wellness Center – Trunk or Treat: 306 Flora Drive, Columbia, SC – October 17 from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Killian Park – Trunk or Treat: 1424 Marthan Road, Blythewood, SC – October 23 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Caughman Road Park – Trunk or Treat at the Park: 9700 Caughman Road, Columbia, SC- October 31 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Hopkins Park – Halloween Supreme: 150 Hopkins Park Road, Hopkins, SC – October 31 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Blythewood Park – Booooooooo at Blythewood Park: 126 Boney Road, Blythewood, SC – October 31 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Bluff Road Park – Haunted Hayride: 148 Carswell Drive, Columbia, SC – November 1 from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m.
EDVENTURE MUSEUM:
Edventure Museum will be having a Halloween Hoopla on Thursday, October 30, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

SOUTH CAROLINA STATE MUSEUM:
South Carolina State Museum is hosting a HalloScream Laser Show for the spooky season. Attendees can enjoy a laser show choreographed to your favorite Halloween hits.
The shows are running through October 31. Saturday shows are at 11:30 a.m., and 2:30 p.m. Sunday shows are at 2:30 p.m.

RICHLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT TWO:
Richland School District Two is hosting Boo at 2 on October 24, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will be held at 763 Fashion Drive.
District officials ask that attendees bring their best costumes, and spooky spirit.
There will be candy, games, music, and family-friendly Halloween magic.
BOO AT THE ZOO:
From October 17 to October 30, Riverbanks Zoo will host Boo at the Zoo.

HISTORIC COLUMBIA:
Historic Columbia is having a Trunk or Treat event on October 27.
From 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Robert Mills House & Garden
LEXINGTON POLICE:
Lexington Police Department Foundation is hosting a Fall Festival. There will be games, food, rides, and a costume contest with prizes at the Icehouse Amphitheatre & Pavilion at 107 W. Main Street. The festival is $5 per person, children 5 and under are free.
