COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia-Richland firefighters responded to a fire at the Carriage Place Condominiums off Davidson Street before 3:30 p.m. where they saw black smoke coming from the kitchen.

The fire was brought under control.

Everyone in the building was able to evacuate safely and there were no injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
