SCEMD reminds residents to be prepared during Earthquake Preparedness Week
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– It is Earthquake Preparedness Week in South Carolina.
Members of the South Carolina Emergency Management Division demonstrated what to do during an earthquake.
Organizers say folks should remember three things: drop onto your hands and knees, cover your head and neck with one arm as you crawl for shelter under a nearby table or desk, and hold on to your shelter until the shaking stops.
