Survey: No Kings message resonating with the public
(CNN)– Republicans, including President Donald Trump have spent the past couple of days ridiculing this past weekend’s “No Kings” protests.
But a new poll suggests the message is resonating with the public.
Thousands attended the No Kings rally here in Columbia on Saturday, Oct. 18.
The survey from the public religion research institute gave people two options.
One called President Trump a potentially dangerous dictator while the second option said he was a strong leader.
56% of Americans chose the dictator option and 41% chose the strong leader option.
