Coroner updates investigation into Sumter woman found dead

Sumter Co., S.C. (WOLO)–The investigation continues after a woman reported missing was found dead earlier this week.
The Sumter County Coroner’s Office says an autopsy revealed no signs of trauma in the death of Jessica Alexander and they are still working to determine the cause of death.
Alexander was reported missing last week before her body was found in a ditch Monday near the intersection of Pinewood and Cody Road.
