Neutrogena makeup wipes recalled due to possible contamination

(CNN)– Neutrogena announced a recall of more than 15,000 makeup wipe packages.

Officials with parent company Kenvue say the products were pulled due to concerns about potential bacterial contamination.

The recall is for cases of Neutrogena’s 50-count, 25-pack makeup remover ultrasoft cleansing towelettes, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The wipes in question were sent to stores in Florida, Georgia, Texas and South Carolina.

No word yet on the source of the potential contamination.
