Newberry man arrested on child sexual abuse material charges

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson says a 19-year-old has been charged in connection with the sexual exploitation of a minor.

Investigators say a CyberTipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) led them to Theodore Keith Green, Jr.

Green was arrested on October 23, and charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, (second degree) which is a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment.

And one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, (third degree) which is a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment.

Additionally, investigators state Green distributed and possessed files of child sexual abuse material.
